Virtual Energy Audit:
No Cost
Time investment: 15-30 minutes
Complete an on-line energy audit, provide details of your home and energy usage
Receive an easy-to-ready report with projected energy and cost savings specific to your home
Based on response provided during assessment, a customized kit of energy-saving products will be delivered to your door with no out-of-pocket cost
Self-Installation of products required - Installation instructions included in kit
Lower quantities of products shipped (compared to Intro. Assessment & Comprehensive Audit Programs)
Gain access to deeper measures by participating contractor – heat pump tune-up, heat pump upgrades, heat pump water heaters, and more. Installation required by participating contractor in our network – refer to contractor search tool
Customers who participate in virtual audit are not eligible for air sealing, insulation or duct sealing incentives only available through the Comprehensive Whole Home Energy Audit
Customers that participate in Virtual Audit will not be able to receive the same category of products in another audit program
Introductory Assessment:
Low to no-cost
Time investment: 30-60 minutes
Use our find a contractor tool to search for a participating contractor in your area and schedule an appointment
Contractor will provide a 30-60 minute walk-through assessment of your home
During assessment, contractor may install energy-saving products such as LED bulbs, hot water heater pipe insulation, low flow aerators and showerheads
Following your visit, you will receive a homeowners report to identify projected energy savings and incentives for installed and suggested products/services
Offers higher quantities of energy-saving products installed by contractor in the network.

Customers who participate in Introductory Assessment are not eligible for air sealing, insulation

Comprehensive Whole Home Energy Audit:
Requires investment - cost range $300-1,600 depending on home size - consult with participating contractor for pricing
Time investment: 2-4 hours
Comprehensive whole home energy audit by BPI-BA certified professional - includes diagnostic blower door and thermal imaging testing to determine envelope air leakage
Offers higher quantities of energy-saving simple products - LEDs, aerators, showerheads, pipe insulation - installed by contractor
Following your visit, you will receive a homeowners
report to identify projected energy savings and rebate incentives for install of recommended products/services
